Mark Dolan has just signed an exclusive deal with GB News to host Tonight Live every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 pm to midnight. Featuring an all-star panel, celebrity guests, Mark’s daily monologue and lively debate around the biggest stories of the day.
Prior to that, he was host of the daily talkRADIO Drivetime show, Monday to Friday 4 till 7. It was one of the most talked about shows on UK radio, generating daily viral videos.
Mark will also be hosting a brand new podcast and web series aimed at inspiring people all around the world to have a more joyous, uplifting and fun life. Mark Dolan‘s BestLife launches this Autumn on all platforms.
Mark Dolan Biography
With over two decades in broadcasting, Mark made his name as host of the iconic Channel 4 comedy series Balls of Steel, as well as three series run of globetrotting documentaries for C4 - The Worlds… And Me - in which, among others, he met the smallest man in the world, the tallest woman and the fattest pet! A bestselling spin-off book followed, published by Harper Collins. Mark helped launch E4 and More4 as host of Show Me the Funny and The Last Word respectively. He won the Comedy Lab award from Channel 4, which led to the critically acclaimed hidden camera comedy series The Richard Taylor Interviews.
As well as hosting Channel 4’s iconic comedy series Balls of Steel, Mark also fronted three hit series of globetrotting documentaries for C4 (The World’s …and me) – in which he met the most extraordinary people on the planet, including the smallest man, tallest woman, richest teenager, cleverest child and the owner of the world’s largest breasts! A Sunday Times bestselling book followed, The World’s Most Extraordinary People and Me, published by Harper Collins. A follow-up edition, “Do You Mind If I Put My Hand On It” was released two years later.
Mark has been a regular pundit on Sky News and recently appeared on Celebrity Mastermind, Pointless Celebrities, The Jeremy Vine Show and previously survived a stint on C4’s The Jump. He was victorious in C4’s Celebrity Come Dine With Me, but sadly lacked the stitching skills to prevail in Kirsty Allsopp’s Celebrity Craft Challenge, in which his embroidered footstool was coolly received by the judges. Mark is married with two children and lives in Highgate, North London.
